Although I’ve only had the opportunity to shoot them twice, my sister Erinn and her horse Rocky might be one of my favorite subjects to shoot. The relationship the two have is really something special to witness. Besides palling around in the stalls, the two work exceptionally well together in the ring. The relationship between a horse and rider is fun to watch. It’s a relationship of trust and it’s easy to see it flowing back and forth between the two while competing. I’m always impressed with the confidence Erinn uses to control Rocky, and it makes me very proud of her when I get to see it up close.
